- February To-Do List for Leadership London Students
- Do you have an up-to-date passport?
- If not, see Getting a Passport.
- Have you completed, signed, and returned the "TCU Code of Conduct" forms, 3 pages front and back, to Dr. Williams?
- If not, copies are available outside Dr. Williams' office, 264 Dan Rogers Hall.
- Have you purchased your airline ticket?
- If not, do so within the next two weeks. Prices will only rise between now and July.
- Have you purchased an International Student ID Card, which provides discounts, additional medical coverage, and the cost of travel if a medical emergency requires that you must unexpectedly go home? For additional information on the benefits of this card, see the International Student Travel Confederation.
- If not, you can do so at TCU's ID Center in SC 221. You will need a photograph and proof of payment from the controller's office ($20.00) to complete the application process. Check with the ID center first before beginning the application process.
- Have you checked your health insurance plan to see what kind of coverage you have outside the U.S.?
- If not do so, talk to your parents, and read "What Kind of Health Insurance Coverage Do I Need" in the "Pre-Departure Handbook" for the London Centre.

REMINDERS
- Our first required activity is Sunday, 2pm, for the bustop tour of London. This means that we will meet as a group at 1pm at the Janet Poole House. MANDATORY! Be there or be square.
- On Saturday, when you get into London, buy an all day tube pass if you plan to do some exploring. This is typically cheaper than a per trip ticket. Don't buy your weekly Tube Pass until Monday. That way, when you come back into London on Sunday nights from your weekend trips, your tube pass will still be good until midnight.
- We'll have a full schedule for you in London. But for the first week, the only night time activity we have scheduled is the "Merchant of Venice," at Shakespeare's Globe theater, Tuesday night at 7:30.
LAST MINUTE STUFF
- You will not need sheets or towels. Sheets and towels will be changed weekly (not daily).
- At the Janet Poole House, you'll find a pay phone on each floor. In London, we'll be getting details on some cheaper alternatives for international phone calls.
- Internet access is available at the TCU Center, but you will be charged at the rate of 3 pounds per hour. Cheapest thing will probably be for several of you to pair or triple up to share the cost and time. In London, we'll also get the details on some cyber-cafe alternatives nearby.
